A new journey, an adventurous trip, a journey that took place just in the nick of time because of my last entry. We are a small group, a select group, a group of nine people, not counting our tour guide.

Here is a personal account of this particular trip, primarily for the group itself. The official itinerary is in the brochures and on the website of Djoser.

Dear friends,

It has been a rough and tough time, a stressful time. A time of complex administrative procedures, of intense deliberations, of winding up and finalizing things, of arranging things, of clearing up and cleansing and most of all a time of waiting. Stressfull, stressful waiting.

I never thought that returning to one’s own country could be so complicated. Even for some-one like me who speaks the language and has a masters degree in law.

But now things are looking better. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and it is not a train coming this way.

Let me tell you what happened.

I didn’t know whether if I should continue to write my newsletters after re-emigrating to the Netherlands. But several of my friends asked me to do so, so I will. And besides many strange things have happened to me, as always. Things that I love to share with you, dear friends.

I think that I left Les Labadous and Rennes-le-Chateau and even the south of France rather too quickly. Understandably, for when your house is sold you no longer ‘belong’ to that place. Now I was living in an almost empty shell, for all my stuff had been packed by the mover and was stocked in the Netherlands. So I left two days after signing the final contract on March 29th with just my personal things. Enough for living out of the boot of my car.

And I was also in a hurry to find a house, a new house, my new house in Friesland.

 It is done. It is finally done. Les Labadous has been sold on March 29th 2016.

And we are both happy and sad that is has been sold. Happy that it finally has been sold, after being for sale for nearly 6 years. We had several interested parties but Les Labadous just did not want to be sold to them.

What a curious times, what a strange times. Difficult times for most of us. Uncertainty, anxiety, drastic changes everywhere. People are loosing their jobs, many are stepping into the unknown, trying to start a new life. And lot of our friends are tired, exhausted, or very ill.

What is happening? Not only here, but all over the world? It feels as if major changes are coming our way. For which we must be prepared. We may have to transform ourselves, to cleanse our bodies and souls and to solve negative karma from the past. As well as dealing with all the bad experiences from our present life.
