Who knows, this may be my last newsletter from France. For I have a feeling that this place, our lovely place La Source, in the valley of Les Labadous, at the foot of that magic village Rennes-le-Chateau, will be sold within the next few months.

I already sent you a mail and newsletter saying that we will not be able to take in groups and provide meals for them next year. We are very sorry but ‘it is as it is’ as they say in France.

However you will be welcome to stay at our place until it is sold. That is if you provide for your own meals. And I will be happy to guide you as long as I am there. And maybe the new owners will honor the reservations you wanted to make for 2016. We will certainly tell them.

We are a little bit reluctant to tell you how things will be at our place in 2016, but we have to..

We have been at Les Labadous since January 1999. Cleaning up the place, which was a major effort, for it had been used for years as a home for stray dogs. Renovating the place. Building new apartments and gites. Installing toilets, showers, kitchens, and furniture. Putting septic tanks, gas tanks and all kinds of tubes and wires in the ground. Making new central heating systems and a parking place. Making a beautiful garden, decorating the place and more, much more. We have carefully maintained the place over the past 16 years. We felt is as our duty, our mission in life and it was an honor to do so.

One of my last tours this year. A wonderful tour. With three beautiful and lovely American ladies. It was both a spiritual tour and a photographic tour. The weather was perfect, the ladies were beautiful and the scenes were magnificent. We travelled through most the South of France. From east to west. I hope that this may serve as an inspiration for people who want to come to France and visit this area. For people who want to meet Mary Magdalene. And for people looking for the roots of Christianity. Or people who want some wonderful photo shoots. Let me take you by the hand and lead you to some of the most interesting places of the South of France.

Many of us have experienced some hard times during the past months. It wasn’t easy. There were all kinds of problems. It felt as if we were being attacked on our weak points. As if things from the past needed to be solved. Or maybe it was the energy from the Universe striking the earth in powerful waves.

And maybe things are heating up here on earth and are finally coming to a conclusion. I don’t know. I only know that a lot of people were, and still are, facing serious problems and that many didn’t and don’t feel very well.

Maybe we are being confronted with ourselves. Maybe we have to open up. Revealing who we really are. Like a challenge. Going back to our source.

Not much news in July and August. We had some wonderful groups. Reint and Gabriela came to our place for the 10th time! I had a great time with a camera team from RTL 4 taking shots in Collioure for their popular program “Camping Life.” And in Rennes-le-Chateau we had, for the first time “Le festival du Film Insolite.” A perfect place for such a happening.
